Mila's Keeper Glass Breast Milk Storage Bottles come in two (2) sizes, standard and wide neck*, to accommodate different size pumps and nipples.  Make sure you know which neck size is the right storage bottle for you. 

*Spectra, Motif Luna and Maymom flanges: Due to some recent inconsistencies with the threading of our wide necks, these flanges may or may not be secure with these brand pump flanges.  Therefore we recommend one of the following:

1) Purchase the wide necks and if they are loose, purchase these silicone seals from Maymom which secure the flanges.

2) Purchase the standard neck bottles and use with a wide converter for standard bottles, such as the adapter by Spectra, Motif, or  Maymom.

** Evenflo wide bottles have recently changed their threading - see here.  Our bottles fit the threading of the current nipple cap ring, not the new.  Please check before purchase or use a compatible cap ring with their nipples.

The wide mouth of this size also accommodates milk poured from wearable, hands-free breast pumps such as Freemie, MomCozy, Elvie, and Babyation.

The MilKeeper-  Insulated Breast Milk Cooler Dimensions:  The MilKeeper can fit one ice pack and one 5 ounce/150 ml glass storage bottle by Mila's Keeper. The cooler may fit breast milk storage bottles such as Medela and Spectra.  Please check measurements before purchase to ensure the bottle fits the cooler.

The MilKeeper can alternatively fit 2 breast milk bags such as Lansinoh with 6 ounces each.

Important Note:  With the cold pack inserted, the MilKeeper can fit a bottle of maximum diameter of 2.5 inch (63mm) x 4 inch height (105 mm).

Easy Use Instructions:

1. Remove ice pack from freezer after minimum 12 hours.
2. Handling with care, always check the ice pack(s) for any leaks or cracks before use.
3. If the ice pack is intact, twist the frozen ice pack counter-clockwise into inner threads of TempKeeper® lid to secure into place.
4. Twist the TempKeeper® clockwise onto the base of the cooler to engage the leak-proof seal.
5. Place one Mila's Keeper Glass Storage Bottle or other bottle and bags, into the cooler to stay cold for 20 hours. (Alternatively the ice pack may be placed at the bottom of the cooler, with the standard size storage bottle or bags on top.)
6. Important note: Following the CDC/AAP recommendations, we do not advise adding warm milk to already cold milk. If you choose to do so, however, we recommend that you switch out to a new frozen ice pack at the time you add the new warm milk to the cold milk to ensure safety of your milk.  So consider getting extra ice packs!   See our Quick Guide on the Four Ways to Store Milk in the MilKeeper: 

Care Instructions:

1. Wash and rinse the product thoroughly with soap before first use and after each use.
2. Bottle are safe in sterilizers.  Hand wash for best results to preserve the design. Dishwasher is not recommended due to the preservation of the gold design.
3. Do not use abrasive cleansers or scrubbers since they may scratch the finish.
4. Never place in freezer or microwave.

Easy Instructions as a Milk Warmer:   Fill your Mila's Keeper Breast Milk Cooler, the MilKeeper®, a third of the way with hot tap water.  Place your bottle safely inside the insulated flask, seal with the leakproof lid, and wait 10-15 minutes until your milk has defrosted and is cozy warm.

Instructions to Transport Frozen Milk:  Remove ice pack and frozen milk from bags or from our Mila's Keeper Glass Storage Bottles from the freezer. Place bags or milk into the MilKeeper with the ice pack, and your milk stays frozen for 36 hours! See video here. 

Note: If you plan on storing pre-refrigerated milk in the cooler, do not use with ice pack as this will cause the milk to partially freeze to the ice pack and lid.  Instead, store milk in a separate container (such as bags or bottles).  

Mila's Keeper Double-Walled Insulated Coolers are made from the highest grade 18/8 or 304 stainless steel. For increased thermal control, the steel is copper lined to reflect heat, ensuring the contents of your bottle stay cold as long as possible.

The Insulated Cooler lid is made of BPA-Free polypropylene which is food-grade and tested for FDA approval.

Mila's Keeper Breast Milk Storage Bottles are made entirely of 100% Borosilicate Glass which is the highest medical-grade glass. It is also thermal shock resistant which means that it can be placed safely in the freezer and bottle warmers.

Our glass storage bottles include a lid and cover made of 100% silicone. Silicone is an organic based polymer, which is non-toxic and unlike plastic it is very durable, easy to clean and odorless. It is soft, silky and will not stain when washed after each use.
