Mila's Keeper Breast Milk Storage Bottles are made of 100% Borosilicate Glass which is the highest medical-grade glass. It is also thermal shock resistant which means that it can be placed safely in the freezer and bottle warmers.

Our glass storage bottles include sleeves and a lid made of 100% LFGB Platinum-Grade silicone. Silicone is an organic based polymer, which is non-toxic and unlike plastic it is very durable, easy to clean and odorless. It is soft, silky and will not stain when washed after each use.

Mila's Keeper Glass Breast Milk Storage Bottles come in two (2) sizes, standard and wide neck, to accommodate different size pumps and nipples.  Make sure you know which neck size is the right storage bottle for you. For example:

*Special Note: Our bottles are compatible with original manufacturer pump parts only - adapters from other manufacturers are not guaranteed to fit. (i.e. Maymom generic brands wide necks may not fit unless you use the sealing ring that comes with the flanges)

The wide mouth of this size also easily accommodates milk poured from wearable, hands-free breast pumps such as Freemie, Elvie, and Babyation.

Dimensions to fit the MilKeeper:  The MilKeeper Insulated Coolers can fit one ice pack and one 5 ounce/150 ml glass storage bottle by Mila's Keeper. The cooler may fit breast milk storage bottles such as Medela and Spectra.  Please check measurements before purchase to ensure the bottle fits the cooler

Important Note:  With the ice pack inserted, the MilKeeper can fit a bottle of maximum diameter of 2.5 inch (63mm) x 4 inch height (105 mm).

Care & Use Instructions

Mila's Keeper Glass Storage Bottles can be used to directly pump breast milk into using most leading brands of breast pumps, to store breast milk, and to feed.*

In order to secure the leak proof patent-pending silicone lid, there are two ways to use:

1. Push the lid firmly down to the bottom of the mouth of the bottle and twist to tighten, ensuring there is no gap between lid and bottle.

2. Simply peel back the lid to open, and push firmly down making sure there is no gap between lid and bottle.  See video here.

*Please note that when you first receive the bottle in its package, the lid might be vacuum sealed making it harder to peel open. Just know that once it is opened the first time, the vacuum will be released and it will be easier to use thereafter.

Use in Freezer or in Boiling Water

Mila's Glass Bottles are made of 100% Borosilicate Glass and have been tested for thermal shock proof of extreme temperatures. This means that you can safely freeze your glass bottles, and you can even boil your bottle to sterilize. 

We would like to caution that when doing so, especially boiling, the glass bottle will be extremely hot and you must use protective gloves to handle the hot glass.

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:

While the glass bottles can be placed in the freezer, they must be brought to room temperature before placing in warm water, as the transition from one extreme temperature to another will break the bottle.  This is the same in reverse.  If you have heated the bottle, wait until it has reached room temperature before placing in the freezer.

Caring for your bottle:

Wash with soapy water after each use. After washing, be sure to remove all cleaning agent residue. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scrubbers to clean the glass as it might chip the glass or damage the printing.

The glass, sleeve, and lid are top rack dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing since harsh detergents will affect the appearance of your bottle.

Glassware should be washed as soon as possible after use to avoid caking of residue and it is important not to let soiled glassware dry out. If immediate cleaning is not possible, the glassware should be soaked in water.

Be sure to thoroughly clean the silicone sleeve, and especially inside of the silicone lid after each use. To remove potential build up in lid, soak in white vinegar as the most effective natural, organic way to remove residue.

Hard utensils, wire brushes or bottle brushes with  wire cores, should not be used for cleaning as they may scratch or score the surface of the glass causing weak spots in the glass. Scratched glassware is prone to break during freezing or heating. It is recommended that a sponge or silicone brush that is soft and flexible be used.

Dry the glassware inverted on racks or pegboards. Inspect the glassware for chips, cracks and scratches on the inside and outside. Do not use glassware with visible signs of damage.

*While we cannot guarantee your baby's favorite nipple will fit the bottle, it will fit many leading brands. Check the Compatibility section for updates. Be sure to test for leaks prior to use especially before using with baby.
