Two (2) Breast Milk Ice Packs for the MilKeeper
Extend your peace of mind with two extra, resuable ice packs that will keep your breast milk cold inside your insulated breast milk cooler. Each ice pack used with your MilKeeper will keep up to 12 oz of milk cold for 20 hours.*
Breast milk ice packs should ideally be 12 hours minimum in the freezer. So for those who are using daily, throw some extra ones in the freezer to ensure maximum benefit. Comes in two different colors for ease of knowing which was most recently used.
*Per CDC/AAP recommendations, we do not recommend adding warm milk to cold milk in our coolers (unless it is separated by bags). If you choose to do so, however, you may need to switch out to a new frozen ice pack when adding additional warm milk to ensure safety of your milk.
Mila's Keeper "colder than ice" cold packs are made of HDPE which is fully tested as food-grade, BPA-free and FDA approved.
Size: 2.6 in. height x 2.25 in. diameter
Freeze for 12 hours minimum, 24 hours ideal before use. Ice packs should be completely solid when frozen.
Handwash only.
Do not heat or put in microwave.
Check the condition of ice pack before every use to ensure there are no leaks or cracks.
Note: Ice packs, like all ice packs, have on average life span of 2-3 years, after which they should be replaced.
